I just couldn't keep from writing about my dinner tonight!! Corn Flake prepared a splendid Marinated Chicken tonight!! The frozen Bertolli Meal paired excellently with the finest Pepsi Co. Mountain Dew!! (NOT diet!!) As with all the finest frozen foods, Bertoli meals were marked off $3 a couple weeks ago plus a coupon for an extra dollar off!! So the meal was basically half priced!! We bought a bunch!! (the meal wasn't stale one bit from those weeks in 'Flake's Freezer!!)

But I digress -- the presentation was what set the meal off, though -- you know that 'Flake, always one to just put the extra effort into Skillet Creations!! The blend of tupperware and aluminum can made for a salacious - if recyclable - presentation!! I give this meal 8 stars out of 10 - my only hesitation was the ability of the meal to stay warm the entire time I was eating it. For some reason if you eat this meal slowly it cools, making the last few bites less than piping hot!!

'Flake includes some very important cooking instructions, though - do NOT use the microwave instructions - then it tastes like crap!! Only use the skillet/stovetop directions, and be sure to stir constantly. No need for any extras (no adding Zing! or other flavorings!) with these frozen delicacies!!

I forgot to discuss my drink from lunch today - Cherry Coke!! The cherry flavor offset the apparent lack of fruit in my lunch, and made me really gather a completely pyramidal dining experience!! I give the lunch 7 stars -- points off for a slightly too sweet sauce, and noodles that were just a little too crunchy given the usual timbre of a Thai meal. Overall, though, highly recommended!!!!

See you all for Lunch Tomorrow!!!

  2. Thanks SO much for posting about the Skillet dinners!!! You know, it was made for me once and I couldn't figure out what it was...now I know!!! The tip about the tupperware is super important too - i've tried this trick with other meals, it totally works! Do you have any other ideas on how to really spruce up the presentation of my meals?? I'm really looking to impress some guests later on...can you help?! Also, I was really hoping to find a creative recipe for sprinkles use, preferably one that utilizes fava beans - any suggestions?

    Sincerely,
